We are beginning our new family series, “Broken.” We are bombarded daily with images of the “perfect” family. The truth is, no family is perfect. What is seen on the outside rarely reveals what goes on within the family. Young or old, we all belong to a family. Whether your family is traditional by society standards, blended by marriage, or built by adoption or foster parenting, family life can often be fragmented and complicated. During the next five weeks, we will take on five real life challenges and focus on what will help us take shattered pieces and place them into a beautiful mosaic of God’s design for the family.
