Rusty Greene serves as the Middle School Pastor at Midway Macedonia Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia. Rusty has been on staff since November 2000. He served as Children’s Pastor from November 2000 through July 2006 and as Junior High Pastor from August 2004 to present. His responsibilities include leading and participating in all activities for the 24/7 Middle School ministry (6th through the 8th grades.) These activities include Middle School Student LIFE Groups, Weekend activities, Wednesday night activities, Camps and other ministry related activities. Rusty also serves our technology team helping maintain our networks and computers.
Rusty grew up in Douglasville, Georgia before moving to Carrollton in 1979. He is a graduate of Central High School in Carrollton, Georgia. He was the small business owner and operator of Greene Video for 17 years prior to being called into full time ministry. His hobbies include web and graphic design, hunting, fishing, spending time with family and working with students.
Rusty has been married to his wife Cindy for 15 years. They have one daughter, Jessica and a son, Taylor. The Greene’s enjoy serving together as a family here at Midway.
