Church Records Update Project: Over the past couple of years, our church has grown significantly with many new families and individuals attending and joining Midway. We're sure you would agree that having current & accurate church records is very important to Midway for both historical reasons and to insure we can best serve our church family now and moving forward. As such, Pastor Todd periodically requests that we go through the process of updating our church records to make sure we are capturing accurately the important detailed information pertaining to everyone in our church family. You will find an insert in this weekend's Worship Guide that requests this information. We ask that EACH INDIVIDUAL complete the form in full and place it in the offering basket or turn it in to the Hospitality Desk in the Atrium. The form is also available for pick up at the Hospitality and Front Lobby desks. Because of the importance Pastor Todd and our church places on having accurate records, we will continue to run this insert weekly until we have collected all required information from our church family.

Ugandan Children's Choir: Midway will host the Ugandan Children's Choir from Kampala, Uganda on Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 24.This group will sing, dance, and share their lives during services. "Christmas in July:" It's getting close to the end of collecting boxes for this year's Christmas in July. We have less than 50 boxes available for pick up at the special table set up in the Atrium corridor. The boxes will be distributed at our December Christmas Outreach events. To participate, please place SEVEN small $1 or less gifts in the box along with a $1 for a Bible so the total cost of each box is $8. Please do not place a single $7 gift as the key is for all boxes to be consistent and have seven equally inexpensive gifts. Then, please write the letter "G" or "B" on the box indicating whether it's for a girl or boy. Part of the fun is that the children will decorate the boxes, make Christmas cookies and hear the Christmas story. OR if you want the most salvation for your money, a great idea is for LIFE Group classes to visit an online gift site to purchase dozens of toys. What's important is that giving just ONE box filled with toys and a bible may be the one box that brings salvation to a family who otherwise may not have heard the "good news". Please fill all the boxes that you pick up and leave them in your LIFE Group class or bring them to the special table in the Atrium corridor by Sunday, August 24. If you have any questions, please contact Doug Allison at 770-214-2437.
