Todd Wright has been the pastor
of Midway Macedonia Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia
since June 1996. He is known for being “real” and
possessing a great sense of humor and a constant smile. He
teaches with clarity and creativity that helps bring the
Bible alive. As Lead Pastor, he leads Midway Macedonia’s
leadership teams and provides a challenging vision for the
church to excel at its mission. He has led Midway Macedonia
through several years of consistent growth and expansion in
ministry. Midway was recently recognized by the Georgia
Baptist Convention as one of the 20 fastest growing churches
in the state.
Todd is a native of Tallapoosa,
Georgia where he graduated from Haralson County High
School. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts and Master
of Arts degree in Biblical Studies at Luther Rice Seminary.
Before coming to Midway Macedonia, Todd was the pastor of
Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia. His hobbies
are farming, hunting, fishing, golfing, and “hanging out”
with friends and family.
Since 1982, Todd has been
married to his childhood sweetheart, Lisa Wood. Lisa loves
being a mom, managing her rental properties, and being with
Todd. They have two daughters, Hannah and Olivia. The Wright’s really enjoy being together whether on
the farm or on the job.
