William
Beck began serving Midway Macedonia Baptist Church in Villa
Rica, Georgia, as the Music and Administrative Pastor in January
2006. He is known best for his background and experience in
choir and orchestra. He loves to teach and bring to light
the biblical truths that are expressed in the music and
lyrics of the songs we sing. Drawing from a wealth of
experience and diversity of ministry opportunities, William
brings a broad base of practical knowledge to the ministry
team here at Midway Macedonia.
William is a native of Faith,
North Carolina where he was an honor graduate from East
Rowan High School. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine
Arts degree at Piedmont Baptist College in Winston Salem,
North Carolina with a major in Voice and Bible, and a minor
in piano. Before coming to Midway Macedonia, William served
at Life Community Church in Jamestown, North Carolina as
Music/Worship Pastor/Facilities Manager. His hobbies
include computers, hunting, fishing, cooking, flying and
spending time with family and friends.
Since 1985, William has been
married to Leslie Allen. Leslie is a second grade teacher’s
assistant and High School Swim Coach. They have three
children- Caleb, Katie, and Kayce. All three enjoy
and participate in all types of athletic programs. The
Beck’s enjoy spending time together whether on the playing
field or around the family kitchen table!
